I qualified as a Chartered physiotherapist in 1984 and have worked full time since I qualified, mainly in the Musculo-skeletal /outpatients field of Physiotherapy.
I initially worked in the Royal Air Force and subsequently for the NHS and latterly in private practice.
My particular interests and skills lie in the treatment of Musculo-skeletal issues such as vertebral problems including neck and back pain, joint pain as well as the treatment of sports and soft tissue injuries.
I have been registered as a Chartered Physiotherapist since 1984 and am also registered with the Health Professions Council. I have been a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists since 1990.
I am a keen runner having completed more than 27 full marathons as well as several ultra marathons, which I believe gives me a very good understanding of the needs of athletes. I still run regularly and am a current member of a local running club (Gade Valley Harriers)
